Technical Support Engineer

Position Overview

We are currently recruiting for Technical Support Engineers to be part of our Team supporting either our Financial or Contact Centre customers around the UK. You will be trained across our product portfolio to provide field support to our wide customer base, installing, configuring and maintaining our range of call recording equipment. The role will also involve regular paid overtime (including weekend work) and inclusion on a 24-hour callout rota.

This is a role for a bright, self-motivated customer-facing Engineer with a flexible attitude to work and the confidence to deal with external customers on a daily basis.

Skills, Experience and Attributes Required:
• Stable career history of providing support to external customers (not just in-house desktop support)
• Excellent PC hardware skills - knowledge of building, installing and maintaining
• Excellent PC software skills - knowledge of Windows operating systems
• Excellent networking skills - installation of servers and troubleshooting
• Excellent customer facing and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Must be prepared to work overtime and travel to customer sites throughout the UK and do overnight stays when required
• Current clean Driving License
• Working knowledge of SQL, telecoms, Voice Recording and working experience of working in Financial Institutions or Contact Centres would be desirable
