Analytics Consultant
Position Overview
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Home Based (South of England) and covering the UK
This is an exciting position which has been created to fulfill a growing need currently being fuelled from within the Contact Centre and Services industry. Our customers are predominantly large organisations that possess high volume/high value customer contact operations. In most instances these organisations will have invested heavily in Quality Monitoring and other IT systems in an effort to maximise their overall performance.
The application of our Speech Recognition technology in relation to these customers can significantly leverage the existing systems in order to provide significant financial gain. The role of the Analytics Consultant is to work with our customers as part of a team that is responsible for analysing the unstructured voice data, putting it into meaningful format and applying it against the customer’s business goals and operational objectives. The role applies to both our pre and post sales activities.
The principle business objectives we try to achieve for our customers are:-
• Reducing the cost of Contact Centre Operations
• Increase Revenue
• Improve customer service
• Drive change within their organisation
Suitable candidates will be prepared to travel to customer sites throughout the UK (but be based in the South of England) and be prepared for some overnight stays. The role requires considerable Contact Centre experience covering both the origination and implementation of business and operational objectives.
Skills, Experience and Attributes Required:
• Consultancy/business improvement experience - experience of working on client activities that involve the analysis of specific business areas and the presentation of the results and recommendations back to the customer.
• Analytical/statistical/data modelling or six sigma experience
• Project Management – Well developed Project Management skills, with the outline knowledge of a leading Project Management methodology
• Knowledge and experience of working in large projects, complex proposition selling and of corporate-client relationship management.
• Leadership Skills - Experience of controlling sales/project/consultancy situations with the client and leading joint multi-disciplinary teams.
• Communication Skills - Excellent communication skills, both formal and informal, in one-to-one and one-to-many situations. Well honed presentation skills.
• Interpersonal Skills - Strong awareness of other people/situations and ability to adapt approach accordingly - able to state own requirements in a situation without causing negative reactions. Ability to work effectively at all levels.
